In Conversation with 爱丽丝黄

An Evening Dedicated to Storytelling and the imagination

Join Sarah DiPasquale (Dance), Nick Junkerman (英语) and Jamin Totino (SAS/IGR) for a live, virtual conversation and Q&A with 爱丽丝黄, disabled activist, writer, 媒体制造商. Aymon Langlois ’23 and Caroline Shea ’22 will be providing an introduction.

爱丽丝黄 is the founder and director of Disability Visibility Project, an online community dedicated to creating, sharing, and amplifying disability media and culture created in 2014. Alice is the editor of Disability Visibility: First-Person Stories from the Twenty-First Century, an anthology of essays by disabled people. She is currently working on her memoir, Year of the Tiger, (Vintage Books, 2022). 

This event is a presentation of the Arts Administration Program and 英语 Department with support from the Black Studies Program, Dance Department, Office of the Dean of 教师, Intergroup Relations Program, Office of the President, Sociology Department and Student Academic Services.
